Pass The Woolite

Hell0 again- I'm going to be spending alot of time in the laundry room.

It's hot. It's sticky. And I have a raw sheep fleece on my floor. It's pretty dirty and smelly, but I love it. The sheep's name is "Kramer" and he's a Border Leicester- looks like this:

I love the ears. Such a handsome animal. My fleece weighs almost 7lbs, so they're big too.

This is "Fudgy the Whale"- and I have some of her beautful wool roving.

I've been knitting my handspun Foliage shawl- now I just need to add the border.

The favorite niece passed through Heathrow, and scored some special Twinings Wedding Edition tea.

Kitten Chow is a bit narked because I won't allow him to roll in the fleece.

Poor KC. He is such a neglected abused kitty. Good luck with your fleece! Can't wait to see what you do with it.

That is a huge fleece! What are you going to do with it (other than wash and spin it!)?

Happy fleece washing to you! :D

Poor KC. It's shameful how you abuse him.

Lorraine - I had no idea you were into animal cruelty. Quite the disappointment.

Someday, I want to learn to spin. Even if I never get really great at it, I'd love to know the basics. Your shawl is gorgeous, btw.

Two questions: 1. Was the niece your favorite before bringing the tea?, and 2. How does it taste?

Oooh love the wedding tea tin. I should look out for one of those.

I still have a smelly fleece in the garage but can't bring myself to hours of scouring.... you are braver than me.

Such a cute sheep!
The shawl is beautiful!
Poor KC! The life of a poor, pampered house kitty is not all sheep fleece and tuna treats.

Bridget- Yes, she has always been the favorite. And I don't know what it tastes like, but it says: A special edition Earl Grey, the flavour of bergamot and rose petals.

Once you have raw fleece in the house, there's really no going back.

Oooo, that tea smells yummy! You should have shared your pic of the Duchess of Cambridge!

Yeah, no way that fleece would make it here. Gandalf would be rolling in it, and Atticus would just lie all over it and bat at you if you tried to push him off.

I cannot believe you won't let him roll around in Fudgy the Whale. After all they've been to each other. Tyrant.

Such cute pix!
