What we believed to be arthritis, turned out to be metastatic cancer, and the poor girl couldn't come up the stairs anymore. She was a millenium dog, born in 2000, and to lose her is heartbreaking.

What a lucky dog to have been part of your family. Even her collar says so. Pets are so much a part of our lives. So sorry.
Oh Lorraine, I am sooooo sorry for your loss. Losing a labrador is like losing the best friend/child you could ever have. My thougthts are with you. I'm glad she had so many happy years though with you.
